The Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future

Christmas trees are just beautiful and are the easiest targets for capturing bokeh so here are a couple of Christmas photos taken at the Washington Duke Inn in Durham, NC

Fall Portraiture

I've found my 18-55 mm Nikon lens does real well with close up portraits and some of the shots I took today really showcase the chromatic palette I was talking about in the last post.

Fall in the Gothic Wonderland

Fall is one of my favourite seasons since the chromatic palette is so varied and vivid, despite the impending whites and grays of winter.

Launch

Hi everyone and welcome to PhotoGnomics. Although I use a lot of the photos I take for my other blogs, Campus Sartorialist and Pleasurable Revelation, I felt the need to showcase other photos as well.

PhotoGnomics literally means "mystery of photography" and the modus operandi of this blog will entail preserving the mystery of each photo by including the least amount of information about it possible, leaving room for viewers' personal interpretation.
